wooo...
things seems to be working quite well on my side eve before starts of school term.... guess what??!!... my friend tipin actually inviting me to hold a role in our school QS com as VP leh....
actually it makes me feel ashamed for awhile as i joined the com for last than one month if merely considering the school calendar.... in fact he's the one whom put the string as well.... he convinced me with the prospect of having contacts and interaction with the building industry players as well as other valuable networking opportunities... he's just back from china from an short exchange cum working trip... and heading back to china next semester for an actual SEP... all this is unthinkable without the successful networking and contacts he has gained when a china group came to singapore during his participation in qs com....
though i'm not looking for opportunities like these....despite that... i do dream about it previously.... i do wish to broaden my contacts and add credits to my portfolio... the invitation does present a valuable opportunity this time round....
just as an advice i have from boss PH, join any community/society to collect experiences and build up the portfolio when you can in school....as the employer nowadays do not merely look at the a or b in you... they wanted added dimension and personality which one can bring into their office....
that's why i said things are looking bright now... without having to look hard for a society/com to gain exposure.... this invitation present the opportunities as i mentioned earlier.... despite that holding the "important" role may become a reality soon unless someone voiced objection due to my recent and short history in qs com..... i will strive my best there to live up the expectation of tipin the P.. and of myself....
thanks for the gift and opportunities presented from someone special!!!
